(Miami-Dade County, FL) -- 

The Miami-Dade Police Department, Homicide Bureau is investigating an incident that resulted in a death.  Investigators say that a family member found the , Barbara Diaz, lying on the driveway bleeding.  Miami-Dade Fire Rescue responded to the scene and pronounced her deceased.  A Be On The Lookout (BOLO) with the vehicle description was provided over the police radio.  Moments later, a male arrived at the Miami-Dade Fire Rescue station, located at 6000 SW 87 Avenue and made some statements to rescue personnel.  Police were immediately summoned to further investigate.  Once the officers arrived, they observed that the vehicle he was driving is the same vehicle description provided on the radio.  Homicide investigators transported the individual to the Homicide Bureau for further questioning.  The cause of death is pending the Medical Examiner's report.
