The Miami-Dade Police Department, Homicide Bureau is investigating an incident on SR-836 that resulted in someone shot to death. According to investigators, the victim, Keith Rolle, was involved in a minor, single vehicle crash while traveling eastbound on SR-836 at N.W. 45 Avenue. The Florida Highway Patrol and the City of Miami Fire Rescue responded to the scene and discovered Mr. Rolle unresponsive and covered in blood. He was transported to Jackson Memorial Hospital, Ryder Trauma Center where he was later pronounced deceased. The Medical Examiner's Office conducted an autopsy and determined that Mr. Rolle died as a result of a gunshot wound. The investigation was subsequently turned over to the Miami-Dade Police Department, Homicide Bureau. Investigators are seeking assistance from anyone that was traveling eastbound on SR-836 on the night of the incident. They urge the community to provide information regarding any suspicious behavior on the roadway around the time of the incident.
