(Miami-Dade County, FL) -- 

The Miami-Dade Police Department, Homicide Bureau is investigating a stabbing that resulted in the death of Raul Beatriz.  According to investigators, an off-duty police officer was flagged down in a parking lot in reference to an unresponsive male bleeding as a result of a stab wound.  Miami-Dade Fire Rescue responded and pronounced the victim deceased on the scene. The preliminary information reveals that Raul Beatriz was inside a liquor store when the subject approached him and engaged in a conversation.  The conversation continued outside of the store and escalated into a physical confrontation where Mr. Beatriz sustained a stab wound.  Investigators are seeking the assistance of the community for information regarding this incident.  Anyone with information is urged to contact Crimestoppers.
