Shooting Leaves Pregnant Woman Deceased


(Miami-Dade County, FL) -- 

The Miami-Dade Police Department (MDPD), Homicide Bureau is investigating a shooting that left a 21-year-old, pregnant woman dead.

According to investigators, a 911 call was received regarding an unconscious female on a picnic bench inside a park located at SW 125 Court and 282 Street. MDPD South District officers and Miami-Dade Fire Rescue (MDFR) immediately responded and found a female suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.  MDFR determined the victim was deceased on scene.

The investigation continues.
