According to investigators, the victim was standing in a shopping center parking lot when she was approached by an unknown car.  Shots were fired from inside the vehicle, striking the victim.  The vehicle sped from the scene prior to units arriving.  Miami-Dade Fire Rescue responded and transported the victim to Kendall Regional Medical Center, where she succumbed to her injuries.  No one else was injured in this incident.
