Homeless Man Shot and Killed

(Miami-Dade County, FL) -- 

The Miami-Dade Police Department (MDPD), Homicide Bureau is investigating a shooting that claimed the life of a homeless man.

According to investigators, the victim was standing in front of the market located at, 4330 NW 27 Avenue.  He was approached from behind by two unknown males, armed with handguns.  Both individuals discharged their weapons striking the victim multiple times before fleeing on foot.  Miami-Dade Fire Rescue responded to the scene and determined him to be deceased.
