According to investigators, the subject was engaged in a violent dispute with one of the victims that escalated when he beat and stabbed her to death. While fleeing the scene, the subject encountered a second victim, who he proceeded to choke and strike in the head with a stick. The subject then stomped on her head until she was lifeless.  He left the scene, and returned to douse the first victim's body with lighter fluid, and set her on fire.

Through investigative means, detectives were able to identify, locate and interview the subject, where he subsequently confessed to his involvement in the deaths of both victims.  He was charged accordingly.
