The Miami-Dade Police Department(MDPD), Homicide Bureau, is invesitating an industrial accident that left one man dead. According to investigators, at approximately 12:50 a.m., officers responded to an accident where a Metro Mover car collided with a lift, causing the workers to be ejected. City of Miami Fire Rescue Department responded to the scene and transported the victims to Jackson Memorial Hospital Ryder Trauma Center. Oscar Cabrera succummed to his injuries. Luis Perez was treated and released. OSHA also responded to the scene and began their investigation. The investigation continues.
