Two Juvenile Escapees Remain at Large

(Miami-Dade County, FL) --

The Miami-Dade Police Department, Kendall District is investigating the escape of three juveniles from a detention center.

According to investigators, detention center staff contacted police to report that three juveniles were missing from the facility. A preliminary investigation revealed that these individuals may have escaped through a classroom window. Several calls were received from surrounding apartment complexes advising that the escapees were spotted in the area. A perimeter was immediately established, and one of the subjects, Jason Posey, was apprehended. The other two individuals, Jonathan Jacobo and Greggory Ruiz, remain at large. These two individuals are known to be violent.

The community is urged to call 9-1-1, if they see or have any information on their whereabouts.
