Narcotics Investigation


(Miami-Dade County, FL) -- 

The Miami-Dade Police Department, Narcotics Bureau in collaboration with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) executed a search warrant at 10431 S.W. 171 Street regarding an investigation involving the sale of carfentanyl.  Investigators say that multiple purchases of carfentanyl were made at the location and with the assistance of the State Attorney's Office, a search warrant was obtained.  Once inside, investigators made contact with Tyree Shawon Tyson and discovered over half an ounce of carfentanyl and several firearms.  Tyson was subsequently placed under arrest.  Further investigation lead to the arrest of Omega Demetrius Dupont.
