Need To Locate Escapee


(Miami-Dade County, FL) -- 

The Miami-Dade Police Department (MDPD) is assisting Miami-Dade Corrections and Rehabilitation in locating two inmates that were participating in a boot camp work program.   According to investigators, Manuel Guzman was working in the area of 112 Avenue S.W. 248 Street, when he left the area without permission. Additionally, James Dukes left the area of 134 Ave S.W. 255 Street, where he was assigned to work. MDPD has deployed its resources in order to apprehend both subjects.

If you have any information that can lead to the whereabouts of either subject, you are urged to dial 911. Please do not approach either subject.

UPDATE #1: At approximately 4:00 p.m. James Dukes was apprehended in the area of 108 Avenue S.W. 216 Street. Manuel Guzman remains at large.
