The Miami-Dade Police Department, Professional Compliance Bureau, Public Corruption Section, arrested Mr. David Michael Santana, a Court Records Specialist 1 with the Miami-Dade County Clerk of the Courts. Mr. Santana stole and deposited 54 checks, totaling $30,320, into personal accounts. The checks were intended as payments for documents to be recorded at the Clerk’s Office. Mr. Santana was transported to Turner Guilford Knight Detention Center without incident.
