(Miami-Dade County, FL) -- 

The Miami-Dade Police Department, Robbery Bureau is investigating an incident that occurred at the above listed residence.  According to investigators, the subjects attempted to steal a motorcycle and the victim heard noises outside of the residence.  Armed with a firearm, the victim stepped outside to further investigate and was confronted by a subject.  A struggled ensued with the subject over the gun and the gun discharged, striking the victim in the leg. The subject disarmed the victim and was confronted by another armed resident who fired his weapon. The subjects fled in a vehicle. The victim was transported to Kendall Regional where he underwent surgery and is listed in stable condition. It is unknown if the subjects were injured during the incident.
