(Miami-Dade County, FL) -- 

The Miami-Dade Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred at the above listed location.  According to investigators, the victim and subject were involved in an altercation that escalated when the subject retrieved a firearm and shot the victim.  The subject fled the scene on foot.  The victim was transported to a local hospital in stable condition.
