The Miami-Dade Police Department (MDPD) is investigating a police-involved shooting. According to investigators, MDPD's Special Response Team (SRT) executed a high-risk search warrant at the listed residence, pursuant to a narcotics investigation. When SRT officers made entry into the residence, they were confronted by an armed subject. He was shot and killed. Investigators have confirmed that the deceased subject was the target of the narcotics investigation. The investigation is ongoing.
