Earlier today, at approximately 5:20 a.m., police were notified by Metrorail personnel that a person was struck by a Metrorail train at the University Station. Upon arrival, uniform personnel located a male deceased on scene. Miami-Dade Police Department Homicide detectives responded and are conducting an investigation. The death is currently unclassified.
