(Miami-Dade County, FL) --
The Miami-Dade Police Department, Traffic Homicide Unit is investigating a traffic crash that occurred at the above listed location. According to investigators, the subject vehicle was traveling southbound on the Busway when it struck the victim's vehicle that was traveling eastbound on S.W. 184th Street. The subject fled the scene on foot and was subsequently apprehended. The subject was transported to Kendall Regional Hospital in stable condition and the rear passenger was airlifted to Ryder Trauma Center where she succumbed to her injuries. The driver and front passenger were treated and released at a local hospital.
The investigation continues.
