The Miami-Dade Police Department, Intracoastal District, General Investigation Unit, is investigating a shooting that occurred at the above listed location. According to detectives, Miami-Dade Police uniform patrol officer(s) were dispatched to the area after hearing gunfire. Upon arrival, the officers discovered the victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The victim was subsequently transported to Ryder Trauma Center at Jackson Memorial Hospital. At this time, the motive is unknown and the investigation remains active/ongoing. Surveillance video captured the images of the two subjects moments before the shooting inside of a local convenience store. Investigators are seeking the assistance of the community in identifying these individuals.
