(Miami-Dade County, FL) -- 

Miami-Dade Police Homicide detectives are investigating a shooting that resulted in the death of 3 adults.  According to detectives, MDPD uniform patrol officers responded to a shooting call at the listed residence.  Upon arrival, the officers received information that an active shooter was located inside the residence along with 2 adults and 3 children.  The officers located the 2 adults and 3 children in a rear bedroom and immediately initiated a rescue, extracting each of them thru the bedroom window.  The officers then made entry into the residence thru a rear door and discovered the bodies of 3 adults deceased from apparent gunshot wounds.  At this time, the motive is unclear and the investigation remains active/ongoing.
