Robbery


(Miami-Dade County, FL) -- 

The Miami-Dade Police Department, Robbery Bureau detectives are investigating a robbery that occurred at the above listed location.  According to detectives, on Sunday, June 24, 2012, at approximately 2:25 p.m., a female approached the homeowner about buying some of his mangos.  As he entered his residence to retrieve a bucket for her to collect the mangos, two males subjects joined the female.  When the victim was going to enter his home, the male subjects punched him repeatedly, trying to force their way into his home.  The victim fought back, at which time the subjects took his cell phone and fled in a red van northbound on SW 52 Avenue. 

Surveillance video captured the image of the subjects and the vehicle.  Investigators are seeking the assistance of the community in identifying and/or locating the individuals. Video surveillance footage may be obtained from the FTP site.
