Miami-Dade Police Department, South District, General Investigations detectives are currently investigating an incident that occurred at the above listed location. According to investigators, the victim was entering the gas station when he was attacked by the subject without provocation. The subject then fled in a black Ford or Nissan truck with an open tonneau cover. The victim subsequently sustained severe injuries to his face. The motive remains unknown. Surveillance video captured the image of the subject and investigators are seeking the assistance of the community in identifying and/or locating the individual. Video surveillance footage may be obtained from the FTP site. UPDATE #1: According to investigators, an anonymous tipster contacted Crimestoppers after viewing the media coverage of the incident. As a result of the tip, the subject was arrested and charged accordingly. Thank you all for your assistance.
