(Miami-Dade County, FL) -- 

Miami-Dade Police Homicide Detectives are investigating a stabbing that resulted in the death of two females.  According to detectives, the subject and decedents resided together and had a history of domestic disputes.  On August 12, 2012, they were involved in a heated argument that escalated when the subject retrieved a knife and stabbed both females, killing them.  The subject then attempted suicide by turning the knife on himself.  Miami-Dade Police Officers arrived on the scene and apprehended the subject before being transported to the Trauma Center at Kendall Regional Hospital.  He has subsequently been released and charged accordingly.
