Traffic Crash (Fatality) Update #1 |

The Miami-Dade Police Department's Traffic Homicide Unit is investigating a fatal traffic crash. According to investigators, vehicle #1 (Toyota Camry) was traveling westbound on N.W. 52nd Street when it collided with vehicle #2 (ATV) that was traveling northbound on N.W 31st Avenue. The driver of the ATV died on the scene. The passenger (W/M) was transported to the Ryder Trauma Center at Jackson Memorial Hospital in critical condition. A passenger (B/F-Adult) in vehicle #1 (Toyota Camry) was transported to a local hospital in stable condition. The investigation remains active/ongoing. UPDATE #1: The driver of the Camry and the decedents have been identified and are listed above. The ATV passenger, Lazaro Diaz, expired at Ryder Trauma Center.
