(Miami-Dade County, FL) -- 

The Miami-Dade Police Department, Homicide Bureau is investigating an incident that occurred at the above listed residence. According to investigators, at approximately 10:56 p.m. gunshots were heard and the police were summoned to respond. Upon officer's arrival, they discovered a 29 year old white male suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Fire Rescue personnel responded and pronounced the victim deceased on the scene. The victim's wife and child (under 10 years old) were inside on the second floor of the residence at the time of the incident and were not harmed. The subject fled in an unknown direction.
