The Miami-Dade Police Department, Homicide Bureau detectives are investigating a homicide. According to detectives, the victim had filed for divorce to end her marriage of over twenty years with the subject. On September 4, 2012, the subject went to the victim's place of employment where a verbal altercation ensued, after which, the subject left. The victim left work at approximately 9:30 p.m. This was the last time she was seen or heard from by anyone and a missing person investigation was initiated. Through investigative means, detectives determined foul play and the Homicide Bureau assumed the investigation. On February 8, 2013, Homicide detectives interviewed the subject. Subsequent to statements made during the interview, the subject was arrested and charges filed. As of this date, the victim's body has not been recovered and she is presumed deceased.
