The Miami-Dade Police Department, Robbery Bureau detectives are investigating three commercial robberies at convenience stores which appear to have been committed by the same subject.
On July 21, 2012, at approximately 7:13 p.m. at 10690 NW 7 St., Miami, Florida, the subject walked into the store to purchase an item. When the cashier opened the register, the subject reached over and grabbed money from the drawer. The victim immediately grabbed the money but the subject snatched it from her hand and fled eastbound.
On September 5, 2012, at approximately 12:00 p.m., at 909 SW 97 Dr., Miami, Florida, the subject entered the store to purchase an item. When the clerk opened the register to provide change, the subject produced a firearm and demanded money. As the victim reached for the money, the subject began to remove the money from the register himself. The subject fled southbound.
On September 8, 2012, at approximately 8:30 p.m., the subject entered the store and requested to purchase an item from behind the counter. When the cashier opened the register, he produced a firearm and demanded the money from the register. The victim closed the register and stepped back in fear. The subject then concealed the handgun and fled eastbound.
Surveillance video captured the image of the subject at all three locations. Investigators are seeking the assistance of the community in identifying and/or locating these individuals. Video surveillance footage may be obtained from the FTP site.
