(Miami-Dade County, FL) -- 

The Miami-Dade Police Department, Robbery Bureau detectives are investigating an attempted armed carjacking at the parking garage listed above.  According to investigators, the victim was walking to her vehicle when she was approached by both subjects.  The subjects then pushed her between two vehicles and attempted to take her purse.  Subject #2 then began to stomp her head with his foot while Subject #1 grabbed her cell phone and keys and attempted to start the vehicle.  The victim was able to escape and contact police.  Upon police arrival, the victim's vehicle was discovered still parked with the keys in the ignition.  The victim's property was also discovered inside the vehicle.  The victim was subsequently transported to South Miami Hospital for injuries sustained during the robbery.
