Miami-Dade Police Homicide Detectives are investigating the death of a 6 month old female. According to investigators, the child’s father, Lazaro Ramos, dropped off one of his children at the listed school and continued to work, forgetting he still had his 6 month old daughter restrained in the back seat. Approximately 9 hours later, the father returned to the school and discovered the 6 month old female, unresponsive. She was transported to Miami Children’s Hospital where she was pronounced deceased. The father is currently in police custody being interviewed. The investigation continues. UPDATE #1: The decedent's name is listed above. At this time, no charges have been filed.
