(Miami-Dade County, FL) -- 

 The Miami-Dade Police Department, Homicide Bureau continues to investigate a police involved shooting that occurred at the above listed location.  According to investigators, a home invasion robbery had occurred in the nearby area and the victim followed the subjects.  The victim then advised police that the subject vehicle was at the flea market.  Due to the holiday shopping season, uniform and plain-clothes officers were working a proactive robbery initiative at the flea market and immediately saturated that area.  They discovered a vehicle matching the description and observed two subjects exiting the establishment that also matched the description provided by the victim.  As the officers approached, the subject placed the vehicle in reverse and accelerated towards the officers striking an unmarked police vehicle.  Shots were fired and the vehicle continued to flee striking other parked vehicles before coming to a stop.
