(Miami-Dade County, FL) -- 

The Miami-Dade Police Department, Midwest District, General Investigations Unit detectives are investigating two similar cases.  According to detectives, the victim (Strunk) placed an advertisement on-line to sell a dirt bike.  The victim then met with the subject, who posed as a prospective buyer.  The subject, while taking a test drive, fled on the dirt bike without providing payment to the seller.

On January 1, 2013, at approximately 7:10 p.m. in the area of SW 93 Avenue and SW 146 Street, a similar incident occurred where the subject lured the seller (Armstrong) to an address nearby claiming it was his residence.  The subject took the dirt bike for a test drive and did not return.

One of the victims took a picture of the subject. Investigators are seeking the assistance of the community in identifying and/or locating this individual.
