The Miami-Dade Police Department, Traffic Homicide Unit is investigating a traffic crash that occurred at the above listed location. According to investigators, the vehicle was traveling westbound on N.W. 135th Street at a high rate of speed. As the driver approached a curve, he lost control of the vehicle and struck a utility pole and a residence. The driver was ejected upon impact and the vehicle caught fire. Miami-Dade Fire Rescue extiguished the fire and the driver was pronounced deceased on the scene. The homeowners nor the passenger were not injured as a result of the accident.
