Miami-Dade Police Homicide detectives are investigating a shooting that resulted in the death of an adult male. According to detectives, the victim arrived at his residence from work when he was confronted by the subject(s). For unknown reasons, the subject(s) shot the victim multiple times before fleeing the area [eastbound on 96th Street] in a dark-colored vehicle. The victim died on the roadway. At this time, detectives are considering robbery as a possible motive, however, this information should be considered preliminary, and as with any developing situation, the details may change. The investigation remains active/ongoing. UPDATE #1: The decedent has been positively identified and is listed above.
