Police Involved Shooting


(Miami-Dade County, FL) -- 

The Miami-Dade Police Department, Homicide Bureau continues to investigate a police involved shooting that occurred at the above listed location. According to investigators, units responded to a domestic violence call where three females were stabbed. As the officers arrived, the subject attempted to flee, a confrontation ensued and shots were fired. The subject was struck and pronounced deceased on the scene. The three victims were airlifted to Kendall Regional Trauma Center and their condition is unknown. The subject and victims were related. The officer was not injured.

The investigation continues.

UPDATE:  The subject has been identified and listed above. The victims are currently in stable condition.
