Armed Commercial Robbery

Need To Identify


(Miami-Dade County, FL) -- 

The Miami-Dade Police Department, Robbery Bureau, is currently investigating an armed robbery that occurred at the business listed above. According to detectives, the employee, Mahboobul Chowdury, was in the rear of the business, when a co-worker advised him they were about to robbed as she exited the rear of the business. Mr. Chowdury walked towards the front as both subjects were entering through the front door.  Subject #1, jumped the counter and demanded money from the cash register and safe, while subject #2, held Mr. Chowdury at gun point.  Both subjects fled with approximately $500.00 in U.S. currency.  Investigators have been able to identify subject #1 as Stephon Patterson.

Surveillance video captured the images of the subjects and investigators are seeking the assistance of the community in identifying and/or locating these individuals. Video surveillance footage may be obtained from the FTP site under case PD130823312066.

UPDATE #1: Subject #1, Stephon Patterson, has been arrested and charged with Armed Commercial Robbery.
