The Miami-Dade Police Department, Missing Persons Unit is investigating a possible child abduction that was witnessed in the area of S.W. 57 Avenue and S.W. 40 Street. According to investigators, a passerby noticed the trunk of a gray 2013 Chevy Impala open and with what appeared to be a child inside. The vehicle was last seen traveling eastbound on S.W. 40 Street. Further information revealed the vehicle to be rented by Hernan E Daza-Novellino. Investigators continue to follow all leads and are seeking the assistance of the community in locating the child or vehicle. An Amber Alert has been issued with the information. UPDATE #1: The co-renter of the listed vehicle has been identified as Rita Di Frances Cantonio.
