The Miami-Dade Police Department (MDPD), Homicide Bureau, is investigating a shooting that occurred at the above listed location. According to investigators, officers were dispatched to the listed residence regarding a shooting call. Upon arrival, the officers discovered two victims, both suffering from apparent gunshot wound(s). Victim #1 died on the scene and Victim #2 was airlifted to the Trauma Center at Kendall Regional Medical Center where she was pronounced deceased. Officers subsequently identified a vehicle matching the issued BOLO vehicle and initiated a pursuit after the suspect refused to stop. The pursuit, assisted by a MDPD helo, continued into Broward County, where the suspect crashed into a driver at the intersection of US 27 & Griffin Road. The driver died on the scene. Once tactical officers approached the subject's vehicle, they discovered him to be deceased.
MDPD will continue to work with the Broward Sheriff's Office (BSO) throughout the investigation.
The identity of the suspect and victims will be released pursuant to next-of-kin notification. BSO will release the victim's identity involved in the traffic fatality.

UPDATE #2: The subject of the double shooting in Miami-Dade County and traffic fatality in Broward County has been identified and is listed above. At this time, it appears the subject was in an estranged relationship with Victim #1.
UPDATE #3: The subject's address has been confirmed and is listed above. According to investigators, they discovered a fully operational hydroponics laboratory inside the residence. Narcotics investigators seized 43 marijuana plants with a street level value of approximately $107,500.00. The investigation continues.
