(Miami-Dade County, FL) -- 

The Miami-Dade Police Department, Homicide Bureau, is investigating a drowning that occurred on the cruise ship's pool while at sea.  According to investigators, the victim was inside the pool with his ten year old brother when he was observed submerged under water.  Passengers immediately pulled the boy from the water and initiated resuscitative efforts; however, they were unsuccessful and was pronounced deceased.  At this time, the incident appears to be accidental and foul play is not suspected.
