(Miami-Dade County, FL) -- The Miami-Dade Police Department, Homicide Bureau is investigating a shooting that occurred during a cock fighting event. According to investigators, a crowd of individuals were observing a cock fight when an altercation occurred. Shots were fired and four people were struck. Two victims were transported to a local hospital and the other two were pronounced deceased on the scene.
Investigators are confident that additional witnesses may have pertinent information and are urging them to contact Crimestoppers where they will remain anonymous. The motive for the altercation and the identity of the shooter is still under investigation.
