(Miami-Dade County, FL) -- Miami-Dade Police Homicide detectives are conducting a death investigation as a result of an industrial accident at the above listed location. According to detectives, a large industrial storage tank exploded, killing one employee and injuring several others. The tank stored chemicals which when compromised, contaminated the site, causing injuries to several other employees. Miami-Dade Fire Rescue secured the HAZMAT scene and treated the injured employees. The investigation remains active/ongoing.
