The Miami-Dade Police Department's Robbery Bureau is investigating three armed robberies that occurred within a three-day period.
On Friday, November 15, 2013, the subject, while inside the grocery store, jumped over the counter and demanded money, while holding two employees/victims at knife-point. The victims relinquished approximately $2000 in cash to the subject before he fled the business. One of the victims suffered a deep puncture wound as a result of the violent crime. She was treated on the scene by MDFR.
On Sunday, November 17, 2013, the subject entered the same business and again, jumped over the counter, armed with a knife. A physical altercation ensued between the subject and an employee/victim, at which time, the subject cut the victim multiple times. The subject then grabbed an unknown amount of money from the cash register and fled the business. The victim was airlifted to the Kendall Regional Medical Center in stable condition.
Robbery detectives believe the subject is also responsible for a third violent armed robbery in Miami-Dade County. The third location is not available at this time.
