Shooting

(Miami-Dade County, FL) --

Miami-Dade Police Department, Homicide Bureau detectives are investigating an incident that occurred at the above listed location.  According to investigators, a 911 call was received in reference to a shooting at a residence located at 10330 NW 35th Avenue.  Upon the officers’ arrival, they discovered two victims suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.  Both victims were airlifted to Ryder Trauma Center where one of the victims succumbed to his injuries while the other remains in critical but stable condition.  During the officers preliminary investigation they learned that a possible third victim was inside a residence located at 10515 NW 36th Place.  Officers gained entry into the rear efficiency and discovered the third victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound and was subsequently pronounced deceased by Miami-Dade Fire Rescue.  The subject was known to the victims who had possibly fled towards the south end of the county.  Moments later, an emergency call was received in reference to an attempted suicide in the area of 15200 Block of SW 177th Avenue.  Responding officers were able to locate a vehicle with a deceased person.  Even though the vehicle description matches that of the vehicle provided in an initial B.O.L.O., it is too early in the investigation to determine if the vehicle and the deceased person are involved in the shooting.

The investigation continues.
