The Miami-Dade Police Department, Hammocks District, General Investigations Unit is investigating a stabbing that occurred at the above listed location. According to detectives, the subject approached the victim and asked for a cigarette and spare change. When the victim declined the subject's request and turned to walk way, the subject stabbed the victim in the neck. After a brief struggle, the subject fled westbound from the location. Investigators continue to follow all leads, and are seeking the assistance of the community in identifying and/or locating the individual in the composite sketch attached.
