Shooting


(Miami-Dade County, FL) -- 

 The Miami-Dade Police Department (MDPD) is investigating a shooting that occurred at the above listed location.  According to investigators, subject #1 (customer), arrived at the business and confronted victim #1 (owner of business) regarding a vehicle-repair issue.  The argument escalated into a physical altercation when subject#1 produced a knife and stabbed victim #1 multiple times.  Victim #2 (customer), attempted to intervene when he was also stabbed by subject #1.  Victim #2 produced a firearm and shot subject #1, striking his lower extremity.

Subject #1 was transported to the Kendall Regional Medical Center, where he was treated and released.  Both victims were treated at the scene.

Subject #1 remains in MDPD custody.
