(Miami-Dade County, FL) -- 

The Miami-Dade Police Department's Homicide Bureau is investigating a police-involved shooting.  According to investigators, officers were dispatched to an Assault call (threats to kill victim with a knife) at the above-listed location.  When officers arrived, they were confronted by the subject, who began behaving in an aggressive manner towards the officers.  The officers deployed their tasers, however, it is unclear if the tasers made contact with the subject.  The subject then armed himself with knives, at which time, an officer(s) retrieved his firearm and shot the subject, fatally wounding him.  The officers were not injured during the confrontation.
