Chop Shop Discovered in Southern Miami-Dade County

Numerous Stolen Tractor Trailers and Trucks Seized


(Miami-Dade County, FL) -- 

Miami-Dade Police Department (MDPD) Auto Theft detectives are investigating a Chop Shop, discovered on the listed property.  According to detectives, the victim tracked his vehicle [via GPS] to the listed location, after discovering it had been stolen in the early morning hours.  MDPD Auto Theft detectives were notified and subsequently gained access onto the property where they discovered a large Chop Shop containing the victim's stolen vehicle, along with 3 other stolen trailers and numerous trucks.  The stolen vehicles are being removed from the property and seized.  No arrests have been made at this time. 

This investigation remains active/ongoing.
