The Miami-Dade Police Department's (MDPD) Homicide Bureau is investigating a shooting that resulted in the death of an adult female victim. According to investigators, the victim and subject were involved in an altercation that escalated when the subject retrieved a firearm and shot the victim, fatally wounding her. The subject then fled the area in the listed vehicle. At this time, the subject's motives are not known. However, based on the preliminary investigation, the incident appears to be domestic-related. The investigation remains active/ongoing.
