The Miami-Dade Police Department, Homicide Bureau, is investigating a homicide that occurred in the City of Homestead. According to investigators, the subject was inside a sports bar when a physical altercation with multiple patrons ensued. During the altercation, the subject produced a firearm and shot several times striking two people. One victim expired on the scene and the other was transported to the Kendall Regional Trauma Center where he succumbed to his injuries. The subject was detained for questioning and has since been released. Charges are still pending
