Robbery

(Miami-Dade County, FL) --

The Miami-Dade Police Department, Robbery Bureau, is investigating an incident that occurred at the above location. According to investigators, Richard Chierico, owner, and Emilia Colon, employee, were both inside the main office, when the subject entered the office with a handgun demanding property. The subject pistol-whipped the owner and fired several shots towards the victims before fleeing with an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency and jewelry.

UPDATE #1: As investigators continue to follow all leads, the victim in this case has provided a description of the subject to our Forensic Arts Unit and a sketch has been created. There is a possibility that the subject may have been wearing a wig as part of his disguise. The possible age range and weight of the subject has been updated and listed above. Investigators are seeking the assistance of the community in identifying the individual in the sketch.
