Residential Fire

(Miami-Dade County, FL) --

The Miami-Dade Police Department, Homicide Bureau is investigating a residential fire that resulted in multiple fatalities. According to investigators, a 911 call was received in reference to smoke emitting from the apartment kitchen window. Upon arrival, firefighters and police officers discovered the kitchen engulfed in flames. Once the fire was extinguished, firefighters conducted a search of the apartment and discovered three victims inside. The victims were transported to a local hospital where they were pronounced deceased possibly due to smoke inhalation. Official cause of death is pending the Medical Examiner's report.
