(Miami-Dade County, FL) -- 

The Miami-Dade Police Department, Homicide Bureau, is investigating a shooting that occurred at the above listed location. According to investigators, several 911 calls were received regarding shots fired. Off-duty officers that live within the community were awakened by the gunfire and immediately responded to the area to assist in the search for the subject. A description of the subject and vehicle was provided to responding officers, who located the vehicle fleeing the area and detained the subject. Arriving officers then gained entry into the residence and discovered a male and female deceased from apparent gunshot wounds. Investigators are confident that the incident is not domestic related.
